Object measurement app

Our partner’s app already had basic functionality for measuring objects, but required major improvements to the web platform, mobile app, and Admin panel usability. Its measurements also lacked precision, so we built an ML-powered module from scratch to automate object detection and make measurements more exact.

To begin, we worked on their existing app’s image-capturing capability, improving its 3D model generation and web app connectivity. We also upgraded in-app messaging and video calls, so users could talk to each other, measure objects, create and view 3D models, and exchange files and notes in real time. We built their custom ML-powered module into their app to automatically detect objects in images and measure them precisely, and used AWS S3 for scalable storage and safe transactions in-app.

The result is a high-performance solution for fast-paced industries like insurance and construction that works well for smaller projects or personal use, too.
