We’re hiring a Business Unit Director to build and grow a new vertical from the ground up. This is not a traditional delivery or account management role: it’s a hybrid of business development, go-to-market strategy, vertical leadership, and full commercial accountability. You will be the first person in this domain-focused unit and will shape how we serve existing clients and attract new ones. 🎯What you’ll be doing at Aimprosoft:
- Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for your vertical, focusing on consulting-led service offerings that leverage Aimprosoft’s AI and engineering strengths
- Own and grow accounts: nurture relationships, unlock new revenue streams, upsell and cross-sell effectively
- Design high-value service offerings that solve real-world business problems
- Lead and scale a cross-functional team (technical leads, delivery managers, consultants) as your vertical grows
- Take ownership of financial targets (e.g. revenue, margin), oversee budgets, and ensure profitable growth.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, framing technical discussions in business terms, offering actionable insights, and uncovering new opportunities
- Promote an advisory mindset across the team: align solutions with client goals and continuously seek ways to maximize ROI for shared success.
- Stay current on your industry domain, including regulatory trends and emerging technologies (AI, cloud, etc.)
🔥How we’d describe you:
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to strategy, sales, and team development
- 8+ years in business development, account growth, or consulting leadership
- Technical fluency: able to navigate and communicate modern trends like AI, Cloud, DevOps
- Subject-matter expertise in a business domain such as Telecom, IoT, FinTech, Healthcare, or Retail
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering client impact
- Experience in C-level communication and long-term client partnerships
- An approachable, persuasive communicator who quickly fosters meaningful relationships and trust.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
