About the project

When our partners needed secure, keyless access to their offices, we developed facial recognition software that could be easily added to their existing security. To get started, we developed an ML-powered facial recognition app with Python. The app has several neural networks for improved accuracy, regardless of lighting conditions and positioning, to protect their offices against face spoofing and fraud.

We decided to use ONNX Runtime Server for model serving and Flask as a wrapper to streamline API interactions for faster processing. And for deployment, we used a Kubernetes cluster on AWS EKS to make the software adaptable and reliable in live environments. The final tech gives seamless and secure identity verification, providing office access to individuals it recognizes and blocking access for those it doesn’t.
